Airsponsons
They also significantly improve kayak load capacity. They ought to be inhaled and properly checked as they are very important as for kayak safety. Each airsponsons is equipped with long valves enabling inhaling while being in kayak. Airsponsons are intentionally bipartited. In case of leakage one of them provide crew with relative safety. When airsponson is punctured, it can be easily exchanged without kayak's disassembly. Spare airsponsons are inside pockets settled on bow and stern sides. They provided with water resistant zippers-made of non-magnetic steel. Upper deck material characteristics
Front upperdeck equipment
They are settled on bow and stern ( on stern only in case of kayaks without loading hatch ). Pockets have drainage holes to drain water off when upper deck is flooded. Paddle pockets are made of hypalon. They enable mounting spare paddles or paddles not being in use in case of using other drive. After putting paddle blade into the pocket, fasten the paddle shaft to kayak's side with elastic tape.
Mooring line fitting is frontly located just before carry handle. It's a closed welded traiangle made of non-magnetic stainless steel fitted with non-magnetic stainless steel rivets to upper deck.
It's situated on bow side of kayak. Made of hypalon and strengthened with stiff element. It is fitted with stainless steel rivets to reinforced hull point.
Settled on bow. Made of hypalon with drainage holes ( to drain water off when upper deck is flooded ). Put folded anchor into the pocket and fasten the anchor shank with proper handle situated on elastic tape. Additional loops are used to keep anchor line coiled.
In front part of kayak lifeline belt is situated ( length : 80 cm , width : 5 cm ). These belts consists of brass stainless eyelets that enable lifeline or elastic rope assembly in order to hold the luggage.
Placed in front part of upper deck. Put the shovel blade into the formed niche of the pocket. Then fasten the handle with elastic tape.
Rear loading hatch is an additional part of kayak's equipment ( access hatch in stern luggage space ). It facilitates kayak packing and enables optimal use of spare luggage space. It's being closed with two flaps. One is being closed by waterproof zipper. The other one with Velcro tape. Hatch is totally waterproof. If needed some spare space for electronics or other sensitive device, the waterproof chamber can be opionally mounted in hatch. As above 4.4.6
They run from rudder through breakwaters finials along stern. Made of increased strength core lines and parachute lines. Steering control lines length can be regulated by moving clip hook ( which finials each line ) to following catch being chain link fixed to control line ends. The rudder lays with rudder device integrated with ribb no 4. Rudder device is integrated with ribb in order to reduce the number of separate parts of kayak.
Placed on stern frame. Made of tough aluminium alloy as cast. Rudder and rudder bar are fixed to catch with proper pin.
Rudder is integrated with rudder bar. Made of sheet aluminium. Cover with sea corrosion proof black paint. Rudder blade control is integral with rib no.4
Made of polyester fabric 1100 DTEX coated with PCV. It is totally waterproof. It embraces two oval holes for crew. Holes are strengthened on peripherials with stiff element. Holes edges are equipped with two comins protecting kayak interior from flooding. Comins are being opened and closed by zippers. They are equipped with special device in order to tear it off if kayak abandon is necesary. Spraycover is fixed to kayak with Velcro tape sewn on spraycover peripheries and velcro hook part fitted to breakwaters. SeatsKayak is equipped with comfortable seats along with integrated backrests - creating opportunities for long term paddling without perceptipble pain in the back. Seats are made of neoprene with special surface structure. Backrest together with seat make uniform part connected to kayak. The seat position can be slightly regulated as well as backrest lean. So they can be easily adapted to paddler's body. Seats having certain displacement influence on crew safety and increase kayak's quality. LifelineFixed to D-ring fitting eyelets and run around upper deck. This line is a protection in case of kayak overturn. Helps to be kept near kayak. If cockpit luggage space is fulfilled, luggage can be fastened to the line. Supplementary kayak equipment
It's a properly folded packing bag for hull and ribbs. As a two functional, it improves kayak's ergonomics. Polyester belts are used to fasten it to four D-rings fittings located at the level of rear loading hatch at both stern sides. Compass mountingMade of plywood 6 mm basis that edges are mounted with velcro tape strips. Inside the basis the compass mounting socket is situated. Drives
Foldable is standardly equipped with aluminium ( shaft ) polyethylene ( blade ) . Profiled cross-section blade colored in black. Shaft is covered with special camouflage element depends on year season and outdoor conditions. Paddles are basic and indispensable form of kayak drive.
It's a optional drive. It consists of trapezoid shaped sail Spinnaker type settled on mast. Mast is made of two-functional paddles with special fixing cap. Sails can be used during backwind.
